  In 2006, Discover entered into a strategic alliance with JCB. The relationship enables reciprocal acceptance of JCB cards at merchant locations on the Discover network in the U.S. and of Discover cards at merchant and ATM locations on the JCB Network in Japan. In addition, cards from PULSE, one of the largest ATM/Debit networks in the U.S., will be accepted at ATM locations on the JCB Network in Japan at the option of PULSE issuers. Our alliance with JCB creates convenient access to a major destination for U.S. travelers. This alliance delivers acceptance of Discover cards within Japan enabling cardmembers to maintain the convenience and security of using their Discover Card, even on the other side of the world. New Cards on the Network You KnowJCB transactions are treated the same as any other Discover transaction, in accordance with Discover Operating Rules and Regulations and Dispute Rules. JCB cards do not carry Discover acceptance marks, but instead will display the JCB acceptance mark.  |
