The relationship enables reciprocal acceptance of JCB cards at merchant locations on the Discover network in the U.S. and of Discover cards at merchant and ATM locations on the JCB Network in Japan. In addition, cards from PULSE, one of the largest ATM/Debit networks in the U.S., will be accepted at ATM locations on the JCB Network in Japan at the option of PULSE issuers. JCB International Co., Ltd. is the largest credit card company in Japan. JCB's international operation was launched in 1981 and is the only global payment brand based in Japan. New Cards on the Network You KnowJCB transactions are treated the same as any other Discover transaction, in accordance with Discover Operating Rules and Regulations and Dispute Rules.
