Q: Are you currently a Discover Merchant that is unable to accept Diners Club International, China Unionpay, or JCB Cards?
A: If you accept Card Transactions through a direct authorization and/or direct sales data connection with Discover, please contact your Discover Network Account Executive to identify any necessary changes to your systems.
If you use a third party to process Card Transactions, please contact your Processor and POS Device provider to ensure that your POS Devices accept all of the Card types operating on the Discover network.
Q: Are you currently not a Discover Merchant, but you accept Diners Club International, China Unionpay, or JCB Cards?
A: You may find that you are no longer able to accept these Card Transactions on your POS Device.
With the move of certain Diners Club International, China Unionpay, and JCB Cards to Discover, you will need a Discover Merchant Identification Number to facilitate acceptance of these transactions. By accepting Discover cards, your business will have the opportunity to benefit from the unsurpassed loyalty of Discover Cardholders. Please contact your Processor immediately for assistance.
