Your terminal or point-of-sale device is likely already equipped to accept cards within the Discover Global Network. All you need to do is call your processor to activate your terminal and expand the reach of your business.

Prompt your terminal or point-of-sale device for a manual sales transaction.

Enter your test card information

Please enter the following test card information:

What does an error mean?

*If you receive an error message when running the 6011 test number, you are enabled to accept Discover, but are experiencing terminal issues. Please contact your processor for assistance.

What does an error mean?

*If you receive an error message when running the 6555 test number, you can still accept Discover® Cards, but may not be able to accept Discover® Global Network Please contact your processor for assistance.

A response from UnionPay means the BIN range is active and the test was successful.

Response codes for the test may include:
40 FUNCTION REQUESTED NOT SUPPORTED
51 NOT SUFFICIENT FUNDS (DECLINE)
54 EXPIRED CARD
57 TRANS NOT PERM TO ISS/CARDHOLDER

Note: A response code 40 may indicate that the online merchant needs to be enabled for UnionPay ecommerce acceptance. Please contact your processor for assistance.

A "decline" status means the test was successful and your terminal is ready.

Note: Any message besides “decline” means your activation attempt has failed.
